Highland Civic Club Welcomes Speakers

The Highland Civic Club hosted several community leaders to visit and discuss the needs and concerns of local citizens and businesses.  Guests included a representative from the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT). Jason Vaughn, conservation agent with the Missouri Department of Conservation.  Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish,  and Bob Corbin, LaGrange Mayor and John Roach, LaGrange City Administrator. Students learned the many ways the of local leader’s roles help people in the community. A variety of topics were discussed, along with suggestions and ideas, and how to make a difference in local communities.
