DANNY KELSO

Danny R. Kelso, 70 of rural Maywood, Missouri died August 15, 2017 at his home in rural Maywood.

The son of Helen Kelso was born on November 6, 1946 at Macks Creek, Missouri.

He was united in marriage to Catherine Fulton on July 1, 1971 at Downing, Missouri.

Danny was a member of Emerson Baptist Church, He liked to read, hunt and fish, sharpen stuff, make tea and watch old movies, especially westerns. He also like to roller skate with Cathy. He worked for Electric Wheel and Harris Corporation for 32 years.

He is survived by his wife Catherine Kelso of Maywood, Mo.; eight children, David (Marcie) Kelso of Hannibal, Mo., Caren Sheputis of Palmyra, Mo., Jon (Tisha) Kelso of Union, Mo., Brian Kelso of Maywood, Mo., Eva Goodwin of Philadelphia, Mo., Kenneth Kelso and Carman Cottrell of Maywood, Mo., Rebecca Kelso of Maywood, Mo. and Stephen (Stephanie) Kelso of Maywood, Mo.; eighteen grandchildren, Rachel Kelso, Reagan Kelso, Cole Sheputis, Dorian Sheputis, Laurin Sheputis, Katelyn Kelso, Haley Kelso, Nick Kelso, Joshua Kelso, Shelby Goodwin, Levi Goodwin, Jorja Goodwin, Jonathan Goodwin, Ayden Kelso, Evan Kelso, Kane George, Caleb Massey-Piro and Rhyder Kelso; an aunt, Mary (Curtiss) Hart of Warsaw, Mo.; uncle, Johnny Kelso of Warsaw, Mo.; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Memorial services were held August 19, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Lewistown, Missouri with Rev. Ted Middleton officiating. Music by the Kelso Family.
