Local Schools Start Dates

Lewis County C-1 and Canton R-V schools are both scheduled to begin the 2026-27 school year on August 24, each with full day of classes. Residents are reminded to be aware of bus traffic, pedestrians and increased traffic around both schools. 
C-SC first classes will also begin that day.
New students move in August 21, the hill will be busy with traffic. Please be careful.
August 22: Everyone Doing More (EDM) kickoff and campus activities.
