“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.” Isaiah 40:8
LillyJean was a beloved third-grade student at Palmyra Christian Academy whose spunky
personality, bright mind, and wonderful sense of humor brought joy to everyone who knew
her. Wise beyond her years, she had a deep love of reading, learning, and sharing fascinating
facts—especially about animals and nature.
She found happiness in birdwatching, collecting rocks, building Legos, playing the piano, and
watching educational programs. Her favorite movie was Pocahontas, and she also loved Wild
Kratts, Arthur movies, home remodeling shows, Hannah Montana, and listening to Miley Cyrus.
LillyJean's heart belonged outdoors. She cherished spending time with her pony, goats,
chickens, pigs, her Welsh Corgi, Hazel, and her beloved cat, Rosey. She especially looked
forward to attending the fair and showing her pigs, visiting parks, the zoo, and Branson, and
riding her four-wheeler or going on adventures in the side-by-side.
She loved fishing and hunting deer and coyotes, and she dreamed of one day going on an elk
hunt. She also hoped to one day visit Yellowstone National Park, where she longed to
experience its incredible wildlife and natural beauty firsthand.
Though her time here was far too short, LillyJean’s adventurous spirit, love of learning, and kind
heart will be forever remembered by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
LillyJean was a member of Mt. Olivet Church in Taylor, Mo.
