Local Fire Departments Respond to Fire

Local fire departments were dispatched to lend mutual aid to a West Quincy Mo., fire on June 15 at Haymakers gas station. Canton, LaGrange and Monticello Fire Departments responded with a total of 18 fire departments on scene. Other emergency agencies also were on scene. Smoke could be seen for miles. The building was destroyed and demolition began immediately. No injuries were reported.
