Search and Rescue Training

Lewis County emergency crews attended search and rescue training at Wakonda State Park on May 2. Fire Departments include Monticello Fire, Canton Fire and Auxiliary, LaGrange Fire, Western Lewis County Fire Protection, R-4 Fire, Marion County R-2,  and other agencies including Missouri State Park Rangers, Lewis County Sheriff’s Department, Lewis County Ambulance District. Most of those attending training are volunteers, that give up their time to help people in times of emergency.
