Relay for Life Events April 18

Relay for Life of Lewis County will be held April 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. in Washington Park LaGrange Missouri. There are several teams this year including Cancer Busters, Canton R-V, Liv N It Up, Hearts of Gold and Team L.T. The Event Team has worked hard this year to obtain sponsors, entertainment and activities for the whole family.
There is something for everyone. The children will have games, bounce house, book walk, and a cake walk. Adults will have bingo, pickleball, and raffles. Layla Elaine will be performing at 4 p.m. and then the Canton R-V will have 6th grade band and several other students playing at 5 p.m. 
There will be great food provided by Fat Jimmy’s Smokehouse (cash only), Life Tabernacle Tacos, Primos Pizza and Dottie’s Funnel Cakes.
Come hungry and support these wonderful vendors.
Everyone is invited to support Relay for Life for a good cause. By supporting Relay For Life in Lewis County, the organization helps families with gas cards to get to and from appointments. There have been several Lewis County residents that have used the HOPE lodge for a place to stay during treatments at no cost to them, a free wig if needed, a 24-hour cancer helpline and we cannot forget research we want a cure for this terrible disease. 
Ask yourself if you know anyone who hasn’t been affected by cancer in some form. Cancer affects everyone and it affects our communities. Let’s come together to stand strong and BLOOM for HOPE in Lewis County.
