Hall was the manger for a short time. According to information about the photo, in 1910 it was announced in the Lewis County Journal that, “Mr. Chinchen of Canton is building a large ice house for MR. Diekmann for the use of the creamery.” An electric light plant was built by Mr. Diekmann, who sold the creamery, ice plant and the light plant valued at $10,000 for a part payment of a 200 acre farm.
A healthy Lewis County requires great community news.
