Highland Basketball Final

The Highland Lady Cougars won the Class 3 District 6 championship at Highland on Feb. 27 against Macon. 
The team then played in the Class 3 state quarterfinals at Winfield on March 2 and lost a close game 45-46 against Principia. Due to a scoring error in that game the MSHSAA granted an appeal to replay the 3rd quarter of the sectional game from the point of the mistake, at Hannibal on March 4th. The Lady Cougars came up short with a score of 47-43.  
The Lady Cougars finished their season with a great 23-6 record.
