The Canton Basketball boys team defeated Schuyler County 71-70 in a close game on Jan. 9 at Canton. Both the boys and girls team were scheduled to play at Highland on Jan. 16.
Both teams will compete in the Tony Lenzini Palmyra tournament the week of Jan. 19-24.
