HILDEGARD TULEY

Hildegard Wilhelm Tuley, 90 of Canton, Missouri passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 4:55 AM at the Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton.
The daughter of Josef and Viktoria Schrammel Wilhelm was born on September 13, 1935 in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
She was united in marriage to William Tuley on November 19, 1955 in Munich, Germany.  He preceded her in death on July 13, 2017.
Hildegard was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Canton, Missouri.  She was born in Germany before World War II and met William when he was stationed in Munich.  They returned to the United States and made their home in Canton, Missouri from 1956 - 1976.  She worked at Motorola in Quincy, Illinois from 1965-1973 and also at Kresge’s (later K-Mart) until her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Tuley of Hannibal, Mo., a brother, Horst (Christa) Wilhelm of Munich, Germany, and twelve nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Michael Tuley and a sister, Gertrude Kostiuk.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 16, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ewing, Missouri led by Father Rob Fields.  Burial will be in Queen of Peace Cemetery at Ewing.
Visitation will be held Friday morning from 10 AM until the time of services at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ewing, Missouri.
Memorials may be made to the Queen of Peace Cemetery.
