Troop B Promotions

Captain Erik A. Gottman, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, announces the following promotion effective December 15, 2025.
Corporal Matthew J. Lewis will be promoted to the rank of sergeant and will remain as the Troop B inventory control and supply officer. 
Lewis was appointed to the Patrol on January 8, 2006, and after graduating from the Patrol Academy was assigned to Troop H, Zone 7, Clinton and Caldwell counties. On April 1, 2009, he transferred to Troop B, Zone 3, Linn and Chariton counties. He was assigned as the Troop B property control and supply officer on February 7, 2021. On March 1, 2023, Lewis was promoted to the rank of corporal and remained as the Troop B inventory control and supply officer. Lewis is a native of Brookfield, MO, and graduated from Brookfield High School. He attended Moberly Area Community College in Moberly, MO, and Maple Woods Community College in Kansas City, MO. He earned an associate degree from Mineral Area Community College in Park Hills, MO.
