Meany Earns National Leadership Certification

Kendra Meany, MSN, RN, of Maywood, MO, nurse manager of the Intensive Care Unit, Blessing Hospital, has earned the status of Nurse Executive Board-Certified from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Requirements to earn the certification include a minimum of 2,000 hours of experience in leadership, management, or an administrative role with responsibility for daily operations and outcomes of one or more patient care units in the past three years, and passage of the Nurse Executive Certification examination.
Over the course of her 11-year Blessing Hospital career, she has also led the Educational Services department and worked in outpatient clinical services. In addition to holding Nurse Executive Board-Certified status, Meany is also nationally certified in Medical Surgical nursing. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Western Governors University and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from University of Central Missouri.
