Cougars Win District First Game

The Highland Football Cougars won the first game of the MSHSSA Class One, District 8, tournament against Milan 42-7. Touchdowns were scored by Chris Gaus with two touchdowns, including an eighty-yard run and Gaus reaching over 1,000 yards rushing this season. Dawson Hedges, Levi Dent and Brock Schneider each scored a touchdown. The Cougars will travel to Unionville on Friday, Nov. 7, to face undefeated Putnam County.
