HOMEBANK Hosts Food Drive
HOMEBANK, located at 1810 Elm in the Canton Shopping Center, is stepping up to support the community during a time of increased need. Beginning Nov. 3, HOMEBANK will host a community food drive to help replenish the shelves of local food pantries.
With many families and individuals facing unexpected financial hardship, local food pantries are experiencing unprecedented demand. HOMEBANK’s food drive aims to help bridge that gap by collecting non-perishable food items and essential household goods.
“We are proud to be part of a community that looks out for one another,” said Josh Wilson, Community Bank President for HOMEBANK’s Northeast Missouri market. “We want to do our part to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.”
Customers, staff and community members are encouraged to drop off donations at HOMEBANK’s branch in the Canton Shopping Center during regular business hours through Nov. 21. Suggested items include canned meats, vegetables, soups, peanut butter, pasta, rice, cereal, and other shelf-stable foods. All donations will be distributed to local food pantries serving families in need throughout the area.
HOMEBANK, member FDIC, is committed to serving and strengthening its local communities through secure and convenient banking services, volunteerism, and community partnerships.
