Elisa (Mineck) Harris ‘95 is a nationally respected healthcare attorney and visionary leader whose nearly 20-year career has shaped some of the most innovative care delivery and payment models in the country. Elisa began her professional journey as an ordained pastor before earning her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where she focused on health care law and ethics. She built her legal foundation at a prominent healthcare law firm in Nashville and later served as Senior Counsel at Tenet Healthcare. Elisa has served as General Counsel for two pioneering healthcare organizations, where she played a central role in designing and scaling transformative care models. Today, Elisa is a founding partner of the Nashville office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP, an AM Law 100 firm, where she is leading national growth in healthcare law. Recognized in Best Lawyers in America for the past two years, Elisa Harris exemplifies excellence, innovation, and integrity in healthcare law.
