Pie Award

The Maywood R4 Volunteer Fire Department presented the award for the “Most requested pie award” at their annual chicken BBQ fundraiser on October 3 the Maywood fire station to Russell Brownell. 
Brownell has made his homemade Chocolate and Lemon Meringue pies for many, many years for the event. As soon as he walks in the door with his warm pies the clock is ticking to get them cut and out on plates before the crowd grabs them up. The award was presented to Brownell in appreciation of his continued support for the fire department.
