Highland Cougar Football

Highland High School held homecoming activities all week at Highland and Highland Elementary. It was a special night on the football field on September 20, as both teams honored JT Thomas, a Palmyra football player who was seriously injured in a previous game. Portions of the gate admission were donated to his family and both teams gathered in prayer before the game. Chevie Sharpe and Christopher Gaus were selected as Homecoming Queen and King. Highland lost the football game 62-20.
