Janet R. Klocke, 84, of Ewing, Mo., died July 30, 2025, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.
Janet was born on March 13, 1941, to Raymond Cason and Orlena Guynn Cason. She married Robert Eugene Klocke on March 14, 1964, in Quincy, Ill. He preceded her in death on November 29, 2007.
Survivors include her children, Rhonda (Brian) Scott of Hannibal, Mo., Randy (Janet) Klocke of Ewing, Mo., brother, Jack (Janet) Cason of Taylor, Mo., sisters-in-law, Doris Krato of Ewing, Mo., Ruthie Cason of Ewing, Mo., brother-in-law, Gene Jones of Lewistown, Mo., grandchildren, Brian (Cassidy) Scott II, Brice (Emily) Scott, Brandon (Megan) Scott, great grandchildren, Lucy, Matthew, Drew, Nora, Mazie and numerous nieces and nephews.
Janet was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Shirley Carter, Jean Jones, brothers, Bob Cason and Bill Cason and sister-in-law, Carolyn Cason.
Janet was a vibrant soul known for her outgoing personality, always enjoying her visits with friends and family, never afraid to speak her mind. Professionally, Janet worked at Motorola, Broadcast Electronics and Glenayre. Over the years she took memorable bus trips and had fond memories of trips with Eugene, particularly to see the majestic Redwoods of California. Strong in faith and devoted to her spirituality, Janet loved reading her Bible and was a dedicated member of her church community at the First Baptist Church in Ewing, Mo.
Janet was known for her exceptional cooking and baking skills, with her cherry and lemon pies becoming a favorite at family gatherings. Sports played a significant role in Janet’s life, including St. Louis Cardinal Baseball but even more so her grandsons’ sports events over the years. She enjoyed spending time with her devoted nieces, Linda Bradshaw and Jeannie Shumate. Janet was known for collecting antique bowls and her garden was another canvas for her creativity, where she had a love of working with flowers and tending to her yard. Janet listened to country music with George Strait being her favorite. She also enjoyed the sounds of Elvis and collected his memorabilia.
Janet’s outgoing and loving nature will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral Services were held August 4, 2025, at the First Baptist Church in Ewing Mo. Pastor Richard Ulrich and Dr. Jeff Brown officiated. Visitation was held August 3, 2025 at the church.
Pallbearers: Brian Scott II, Brice Scott, Brandon Scott, Drew Klocke, Gavin Klocke, and Dalton Klocke.  Honorary pallbearers: Jack Cason, Danny Griesbaum, Jack Fountain, Danny Mittelberg, Larry Wiseman, John Shumate and Donnie Bradshaw.
Burial was at Lutheran Cemetery in Ewing, Mo.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Ewing, Mo.
