LARRY QUIGLEY

Larry Ray Quigley, 68, of Coffeyville, Kansas, died April 12, 2016 at CRMC.
Larry was born on September 20, 1947 in Canton, Mo., to George and Ruth (McCoy) Quigley. He grew up in Canton where he graduated high school. He also took classes at Coffeyville Junior College.
In 1970 he married Jeanett Moomaw in Coffeyville, Kansas. Of that union two daughters were born. The couple later divorced.
Larry worked for the City of Coffeyville as a lineman and superintendent for many years until his retirement in 2000. He enjoyed gardening, riding four wheelers, spending time with his grandson and trips to Little Sahara in Waynoka, OK. He used to ride and race motorcycles in his younger days. Many will remember him for riding his scooter all around town.
Surviving to honor his memory are his daughters, Leigh Foster of Coffeyville, Kansas, Nicole VanNatta and husband Mike of Wichita, Kansas; grandson, Hunter Foster; brother, Mike Quigley; sisters, Sharon Lambert and Marilynn Howard.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Bob Ferguson and George Quigley.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville, Kansas.
Graveside Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, April 21 at 10 a.m. at Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville at the pavilion. Military honors will be provided by the VFW Post 1022 and American Legion Post 20.
Friends may sign the guest register book on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. at David W. Barnes Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorials can be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
