JANET HOLTKAMP

Janet Holtkamp, 66, of Ewing, Mo., died April 8, 2016 at Columbia University Hospital in Columbia, Mo. She was born Oct. 4, 1949 at Keokuk, Iowa, a daughter of Roscoe and Betty Boltz.

Janet worked at the Lewis County Nursing Home. In her free time she loved baking, gardening and fishing.

She is survived by her significant other, Ernie Raleigh of Ewing. Mo. Six children, Tim (Tammy) Nelson, Warsaw, Ill.; Lori (Robert) Fletcher, Fairmont, Mo.; Jennifer Nelson, Luray, Mo.; Robert (Marcella) Nelson, Luray, Mo.; Betty (Frank) Raleigh, Ewing; and Roscoe Nelson, Salem, Ala.

Also surviving are nine grandchildren: Tyler (fiance´Maggie Prather) Nelson, Basco, Ill.; Heather (fiance´ Mike Pryor) Benner, Wyaconda, Mo.; Kailynn (Dean) Ekle, Farmington, Iowa; Tucker Yates, Revere, Mo.; Tanner Harrison, Revere; Emma Nelson, Luray, Mo.; Ethan Nelson, Luray; Amanda Raleigh, Ewing; and Taylor Nelson, Salem Ala.; two great-grandchildren, Maddie Pryor and Carson Ekle; a brother, Stanley (Brenda) Boltz, Monticello, Mo.; and sister Nancy (Charles) Guilfoyle of LaGrange. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Queen of Peace on Clow Street in Ewing, Mo., from 3-6 p.m. The family would like everyone to bring a covered dish, as Mom always loved a good potluck dinner.
