REGGIE W JOHNSTON

Reggie Winston Johnston, 75, of Quincy, Ill., died September 4, 2024 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.
He was born May 28, 1949 in Quincy, Ill., a son of Harold D. and Evelyn M. McGlaughlin Johnston. He married Marcia Whitaker and they later divorced. Reggie enjoyed, fishing, hunting, gardening and watching western’s and Nascar. He liked to socialize with family and friends and in years past he enjoyed trap shooting. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. 
Survivors include his son, Chad Johnston of Maywood, Mo.; daughter, Shane (Rick) Miller of Ewing, Mo.; grandchildren, Elizabeth Carper, Derek and Dylan Miller all of Ewing and Annika Maddox of Mexico, Mo., Randall Johnston of Dallas City, Ill., Kailey Russell of Quincy, Ill., and Dominc Johnston of Ill.; six great grandchildren; one brother Steve (Peggy) Johnston of Maywood, Mo., and several nieces and nephews.  
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Theresa Belt.
Memorial services were held, September 8, 2024 at the Ball-Davis Funeral Home in Ewing, Mo., with Pastor Rusty Schultz officiating. Military Honors conducted by Lewis County Memorial Post 578 of the American Legion.
