KATHERYN CLUDRAY

Mrs. Katheryn Joan (Hadfield) Cludray, 90, of Durham, Mo., died August 3, 2024 at the Quincy Healthcare and Senior Living Home in Quincy, Ill.

Joan was born January 21, 1934 in Quincy, Ill., at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was a daughter of William Wainwright and Katheryn Bernice (Lindsey) Hadfield.

She married Arthur Dene Cludray in Quincy, Ill., August 30, 1958. He died November 17, 2001. A son, Kenneth Dene Cludray was born October 10, 1959. He died January 11, 2023.

Joan graduated from LaGrange High School in 1951. She lived in Durham, Mo., from 1961 through 2022. She worked as a cook at Highland High School for sixteen years and retired in 1999. Joan moved to St. Vincent Home in October of 2022.

She is survived by several cousins including Barbara Jean Brown of Quincy, Ill., and Joyce Graves of Palmyra, Mo.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son Kenneth.

Graveside services and burial will be held Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Maywood Cemetery with Rev. Brian Stone officiating. Pallbearers: Doug Mallett, Drew Mallett and Brian Stone
