CHERYL BORGSTADT

Cheryl Kay Borgstadt, 61, of LaGrange, Mo., died July 31, 2024 at her home in La Grange.

She was born January 2, 1963 in Richmond, Mo., a daughter of Alma Lee Borgstadt of LaGrange.

Cheryl graduated from Highland High School in Ewing, Mo. She loved her cat (Figaro), swimming, fishing, being in her yard and her family. Cheryl was the happiest being in the water—her son Todd was her whole world.

Survivors include her son Todd (Chassidy Schroder) of LaGrange, Mo.; sisters, Connie (Doug) Bronstine of Canton and Lisa Borgstadt of LaGrange; beloved friend Cindy Leggett of Keokuk, Ia.; brother, Jeff (Kathy) Borgstadt of Higginsville, Mo.; nephew’s, Michael, Shawn, Tye and Tim; aunt, Bea Peterson of Franklinton, N.C.; and uncle, John (Kathy) Painter of Lee Summit, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her mother Alma, sister Barbara Borgstadt, grandparents Lee and Nina Painter and her uncle Pete Peterson.

A celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home in LaGrange, Mo.
