RICHARD TATE GLASGOW

Richard Tate Glasgow, 47, of LaGrange, Mo., died August 1, 2024 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. He was born October 22, 1976 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., a son of Gary Bertram and Lois Tate Glasgow.
He graduated from Canton High School in 1994 and Culver-Stockton College with a degree in Computer Science. He was employed at Mark Twain Casino, Prairie Meadows Casino, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. In his spare time he enjoyed anything computer related and online gaming.
Surviving are his parents Gary and Lois Glasgow of Canton, Mo.; grandmother, Janet Tate of Quincy, Ill., sister Christa L. (Joseph) Johnson of Quincy, Ill., nephew Ethan Johnson and niece Ava Johnson both of Quincy; Aunts and Uncles Dwain and Anne Glasgow James of Austin, Tx., Donna and David Bower of La Doga, Ind., and Frank and Diana Sprich of St. Louis, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard and Margaret Glasgow, maternal grandfather, Lewis Tate and Aunt, Mary Carole Glasgow.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Davis Funeral Home in Canton with Rev. David Bower officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home in Canton.
Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Ill.
The family suggests memorials be made to Blessing Hospital Foundation or the Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital in care of Davis Funeral Home, P.O. Box 108, Canton, MO 63435.
