Pet Oxygen Mask Donation
August 01, 2024
EMT Leanne Pierce and Bill Fountain, Lewistown Fire Department with new pet oxygen masks.
The Lewistown Fire Auxiliary has donated two sets of pet oxygen masks to the Lewistown Fire Department and LaBelle Fire. Along with treating people at structure fires for exposure to smoke, Lewis County Ambulance can also assist a family pet that may also suffer from smoke exposure..Each primary ambulance will have a set as well as a Lewistown fire truck and La Belle fire truck. The masks are sized for feline, small canine and large canine. Do not call the fire department just because a pet isn’t feeling well, contact a veterinary clinic as these are used for exposure to smoke at structure fires.
A healthy Lewis County requires great community news.
