Library Features Senior Citizen’s Art

The Canton Public Library celebrates our community’s talented senior citizens with a group art exhibit during the month of May. A Guest Artists Reception will be held on Thursday, May 9 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Canton Public Library. All are welcome to meet the artists, view their artwork and enjoy refreshments provided by the Canton Area Arts Council.

Participating artists include Terry Hawkins, Sandy Eccles, Nancy Ellison, and Linda Gower, Don Raines, and Nancy Hallford. From acrylics and watercolors to eclectic collages and prints, Hawkins, Eccles, Ellison, and Gower will exhibit a wide range of artistic mediums and styles. The exhibit will also feature the quilt work of Nancy Hallford and the woodcarvings of Don Raines.
