WILLIAM (BILL) DAVIS SR.  

Mr. William (Bill) Rodney Davis Sr., 65, of LaGrange, Mo., died January 14, 2024 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.

He was born August 7, 1958 in Hannibal, Mo., a son of Jean Davis. He married Julia Humphrey January 18, 1986 and she survives.

Bill had worked at Cyanamid/BASF in Palmyra, Mo., for over 30 Years. He was quite the handyman and could repair or fix just about anything. He also loved doing project work.

Survivors include his wife Julia of LaGrange; sons, William Rodney (Marikia) Davis Jr. of St. Louis, Mo.,, Joshua (Shocinda) Davis of Canton, Mo., Jermaine Davis of Vandalia, Mo.; daughter, Jamae Humphrey of Armstrong, Mo.; grandchildren, Cameron, Carter, Roman, Ramar, Stoney and Raelyn; niece, Stephanie (Eddie) Key of Lincoln, Neb., and a host of brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Davis, brother, Charles Davis, sisters, Juyanita Davis and Pam Robinson and niece, Brenda Perkins.

The family suggests memorials be made to Julia Davis to help defray Bill’s medical cost.
