GLEN EDWARD MAPLES JR.

Glen Edward Maples Jr., 51, of Edina, Mo., formerly of LaGrange and Palmyra, went to be with the Lord on August 18, 2023
Glen was born to Debbie (Randy) Musolino and Eddie (Patty) Maples on October 5, 1971 in Quincy, Ill.
Glen had two beautiful daughters that were the light of his life, Tori and Kendra both of McPherson, Kan. He was very proud of his girls and the accomplishments and choices they made in their lives.
Glen was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and always loved Larry Bird and the Celtics.
He was a member of the LaGrange Christian Church and graduated from Highland High School with the class of 1990. While in high school he enjoyed participating in all sports activities. Glen had worked at Knapheide Truck Pool. Glen was quite the jokester and never met a stranger.
Survivors include his parents, his daughters and his grandparents Amos and Hazel Martin of La Grange; also his sisters Rajah Maples (Ernie Wallace), Marci (Gary) Mayes, Jami Musolino (Jamie Angell), Ashley (Seth) Perrine and Andy (Angel) Wemhoener; uncle Ralph Martin, Aunts, Jana (Gary) East, Karla Healy, Kathy Hinkle, Penny (Glenn) Johnson and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glen Maples, Robert Rohs, Jim Griffin, and Lola and Norman Brumbaugh
Funeral services will be held, August 23, 2023 at 10 a.m. at the Davis Funeral Home in LaGrange with Pastor Kary Myers officiating.
Pallbearers: Andy Harshberger, Sawyer Harshberger, Andy Wemhoener, Aaden Zanger, Mike Boyer and Chris Hinkle. Music: Rajah Maples, vocalist: Go Rest High on that Mountain and The Rose.
Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in LaGrange. Visitation was August 22, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home in LaGrange.
The family suggests memorials be made to the LaGrange Christian Church or to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
