MARGIE WEBSTER

Margie Ruth Webster, 87 of Lewistown, Missouri died August 17, 2023 at her home in Lewistown.

The daughter of Charles and Goldie Billington Walker was born on September 2, 1935 at Kahoka, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Roderick D. Webster on June 7, 1953 at the home of Margie’s parents in Luray, Missouri. He preceded her in death on November 27, 2016.

Margie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lewistown and the W.M.U. She spent her time raising her children and grandchildren and enjoyed quilting and tending to her garden and flowers.

She is survived by five children, Rosetta (Larry) Springer of Lubbock, Texas, Bruce (Georgia) Webster of Mesa, Arizona, Violet (Roger) Price of Easton, Mo., Iris Schultz of Quincy, Il. and Holly (Dan) Dehner of New London, Mo.; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Leola Webster of New London, Mo. and Louise (Lloyd) Gordy of Granger, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Rodney Webster, granddaughter, Lisa Schreck and two great-granddaughters, Alexanna Garcia and Regan Webster, two sisters, Dorothy Gordy and Beth Corum and two brothers, James and Bob Walker.

Funeral services will be held August 24, 2023 at 11 AM at the First Baptist Church of Lewistown, Missouri with Rev. Ted Middleton officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of services at the First Baptist Church of Lewistown. Pallbearers: Amos Schultz, Shane Price, Jeff Schreck, Andrew Dehner, Branden Dehner and Jeremy Urton. Honorary Pallbearers: Aaron Price, Nathan Price, Philip Dehner and E.J. Garcia.

Burial will be in the Lewistown Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Lewistown, Hospice of Northeast Missouri or the Alzheimer’s Association.
