DENNIS SHERIDAN

Dennis G. Sheridan, 81, of Ewing, Mo., died July 27, 2023 at the LaBelle Manor Nursing Home in LaBelle, Mo.

He was born November 21, 1941 in Quincy, Ill., a son of Wilma Irene Fohrman (Al) Walker and Edward Sheridan. He married Shirley J. Peters on July 13, 1963 in Philadelphia, Mo.

Dennis was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ewing. He liked to hunt, fish and rebuild cars and operated Tin Doctor Autobody with his son Ric.

Dennis operated a bulldozer for over 30 years for Klocke, Inc., first with Eugene Klocke and later with Randy Klocke.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley of Ewing; one daughter, Nikki (Darin) McCleary of Liberty, Ill.; two sons, Eric (Barb) Sheridan of Ewing and Tom (Teri) Sheridan of Reno, Nev.; granddaughter, Macy (Austin) Huber of Plainville, Ill.; grandsons, Logan (Madelyn) Sheridan of Quincy, Jonathan Willer of Payson, Ill., Jamie (Jennifer) Kindhart of Philadelphia, Mo., Zaquiri Sheridan of Reno, Nev., and Sam Sheridan of Reno Nev.; five great grandchildren and one brother, Steve Walker of Ewing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Kent Sheridan and son in law, Fred Willer.

Funeral services were held August 1, 2023 at the First Baptist Church of Ewing with Rev. Tim Smith and Rev. Richard Ulrich officiating. Music: Amazing Grace” and “Take My Hand Precious Lord” by Elvis

Pallbearers:  Logan Sheridan, Jonathan Willer, Darin McCleary, Austin Huber, Jason Shoop and Mike Kramer. Honorary Pallbearers:  Randy Klocke, Penny Malloy and Kevin Kelley.

Burial was in Ewing Memorial Cemetery, Ewing, Mo. 

The family suggests memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Ewing or to the Ewing Memorial Cemetery in care of Ball-Davis Funeral Home, Ewing, Mo.
