KENNETH WAYNE FORD

Kenneth Wayne Ford, 77, of Lewistown, Missouri died July 10, 2023 at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.

He was born on August 14, 1945 in Hillview, Illinois to John Wilson and Lucille Ford who preceded him in death.

He proudly served his country in the Vietnam War.  He was a vending manager and farmed for many years. He was also a member of the Lewis County Memorial Post #578. Kenny and Jan raised miniature horses.  Kenny enjoyed collecting, civil war reenactments, western movies and talking with his African grey parrot, Echo.

Father to Amy Coats, Courtney Sandridge,  Kenneth Wayne Ford II, and one deceased daughter, Jewel Anne.  He married Jan Moore in September 2007, gaining a stepdaughter, Marni Moore.  He is survived by three brothers, Wilson B (wife Donna), John D (wife Bernal), Richard (wife Beth) and three sisters, Marylou (husband Harold), Sandra (husband Ronnie) and Janis Ford.

Two brothers, Curtis (wife Lorraine, deceased) and Ronald (wife Betty Sue) preceded him in death.

Graveside services and burial will be held Monday, July 17, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Quincy Memorial Park Cemetery at Quincy, Illinois with Rev. Richard Ulrich officiating.
