Shrine of St. Patrick Family Picnic

The Shrine of St. Patrick Family Picnic will be held on July 2nd from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Several new attractions were added to this year’s event.

The Egg Roulette contest was so well received last year that the number of participants is being increased and a second contest round will be added.

The Jim Ellison family is providing their “Kiddie Train” ride for entertainment and a new playground area will provide hours of fun!

Peggy (Uhlmeyer) Maples donated a beautiful Celtic Chain Quilt to raffle off, all proceeds are going to the Shrine of St. Patrick. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase on that day. The drawing for the Quilt will be held during the Quilt Show located inside the Shrine.

Last year’s show was a huge success with some beautiful quilts displayed by the Missouri Quilt Museum, which are returning again this year.

The picnic will be capped off with the annual greased pig contest.
