Canton Block Party and Car Show

Canton Main Street Association will host the first Canton Block Party of the year to be held May 6. Events will include a cruise and classic car show. Prizes for best in show, other vehicles also welcome. Registration will be from 1-2 at Ayers Oil Parking lot on 4th and Henderson Streets. Car show will be held between 3rd and 4th on Lewis Street. Other events include food trucks and vendors, block party specials at local restaurant, raffle, activities, games, kiddie car show, kid tours of emergency vehicles and DJ Major Sounds from 3 to 6 p.m. More information will be printed in the Press-News Journal and also can be found at Canton Main Street Facebook page. Rain date is May 7. Proceeds will fund the build of the future Wayfinding Community Gateway Sign.
