CHERYL O’NEAL  

Cheryl Lynn O’Neal, 67, of Maywood, Mo., died February 20, 2023, in Blessing Hospital’s Skilled Nursing Unit surrounded by her family.
Cheryl was born May 6, 1955, in Gibson Hospital in Edina, Mo. She is the youngest daughter of Howard and Maxine Coleman Garner. In 1974, she married Philip O’Neal Sr. in Maywood, Mo.

Cheryl worked many jobs throughout her life. She worked for Motorola, Micro Energy, Merchants Wholesale, Amcon, and Knapheide. She retired from Knapheide in 2017. Cheryl loved to work in the garden, go camping, watch her grandkids play sports, and spend time with her great-grandkids.

Cheryl is survived by her husband of 48 years, Philip Sr., four sons, Tony(Missy) O’Neal of Girard, Ill., Doug O’Neal of Maywood, Mo., Tom(Tammy) Vollbracht of Phoenix, Ariz., and Philip II(Desirae) of Clarence, Mo., her brother, Paul Garner of Fort Worth, Texas, and her sister, Marcia(Gary Kent) Richmiller of Maywood, Mo. She also is survived by her grandchildren. Kelsey O’Neal, Paige(Dylan) Martin, Meredith, and Ethan O’Neal, Dalton(Madison) Vollbracht, Lindsey Vollbracht, Kailey, Shelby, and Zach O’Neal. She also has four great-grandchildren. Aubrianna and Zoey Lewis, Westin Martin, and Casandra O’Neal, as well as, several nieces and nephews, a brother-in-law, Charlie O’Neal, and sister-in-laws, Margaret (Norb) Dixon, and Harriet(Ewell) Andrews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Janet, in infancy, several brother and sister-in-laws, and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation rites were accorded and visitation was held at Ball-Davis Funeral Home in Ewing, Mo., February 24, 2023.
