Fryer Named To 4-H State Shooting Team

Trey Fryer of Canton has been selected to represent Missouri 4-H on the state shotgun shooting team.  The Missouri 4-H Shotgun team will represent Missouri at the National Invitational Match in Grand Island, NE in June of 2023. Trey attended the tryouts in the fall at various locations throughout the state and placed in the top 4 to earn a place on the team.

The team is comprised of four shooters and one alternate. Trey will compete in the coming months at shoots with the state team as well. He will also travel across the state to practice with the team to prepare for June. 

Trey is currently a member of the Lewis County 4-H Shotgun Spin Club and a junior at Canton High School. County Shotgun leader and MO State 4-H Shotgun Instructor, Jim Turner will serve as the 2023 Missouri State 4-H Shotgun team coach.
