RICHARD RICK SIMMONS

Richard L. “Rick” Simmons, 53 of Lewis-town, Missouri died December 24, 2022 at his home in Lewistown.

The son of Carl and Sandra East Simmons, Jr. was born on August 4, 1969 at Quincy, Illinois.

He was united in marriage to Stephanie Sparks on December 31, 2015 at Las Vegas, Nevada.

Rick worked at Knapheide Manufacturing, Lewistown Tire, Lewis County Road and Bridge and recently BNSF Railroad. He liked to race cars, ride four wheelers and especially ride his motorcycle. He also liked to deer hunt and mushroom hunt. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Simmons of Lewistown, Mo.; his children, Brandon Meyer of Canton, Mo., Brady Simmons of Canton, Mo., Ryan Cline of Kansas City, Mo., Trenton Hendrrick of Lewistown, Mo. and Mahala Hendrick of Lewistown, Mo.; his grandchildren, Lyla and Conner Cline; a sister, Gena (Jeff) Scott of Williamstown, Mo.; nieces, Jonnette Ott and Jessica Ott and a nephew, Craig (Anna) Ott.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Teresa Simmons.

A memorial visitation to celebrate Rick’s life will be held Friday, January 6, 2022 from 5 until 8 PM at Arnold’s Funeral Home at Lewistown, Missouri.

Memorials may be made to the family to help with final expenses.
