ELMER OTT

Elmer E. Ott, 64 of Canton, Missouri passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at his home in Canton.

The son of Lee and Betty Rankin Ott was born on January 28, 1958 at Keokuk, Iowa.

Elmer like to work on cars, go mushroom hunting and take care of his family. He loved his grandkids and always had a joke to share. He also loved get togethers with family and friends.

He is survived by his three children, Erron Ott of Canton, Mo., Kristy (Mike) Edwards of LaGrange, Mo. and Levi Ott of Keokuk, Ia.; five grandchildren, Gracie Lynn of Keokuk, Ia., Kai Bergman of Jacksonville, Ill., Haleiha Reimers of Ewing, Mo., James Silman of Quincy, Ill. and Robert Rust of LaGrange, Mo.; three sisters, Wanda Harmon of Farmington, Ia., Donna Kunkel of Lone Tree, Ia. and Joyce (Jr.) Barnes of Alexandria, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his parents, wife, Yvonne Butler-Ott, two sons in infancy, a son, Joe Reimers, granddaughter, Carolyn Gaus, two sisters, Jane White and Ellen Tate, seven brothers, Jerry, Larry, Gary, Melvin, Kenneth, Willie and Carl Ott.

Graveside services and inurnment was held December 10, 2022 at Forest Grove Cemetery at Canton, Missouri with Pastor Todd Hastings officiating. Honorary Pallbearers: Pete Tarpein, Monty Kearns, David Wurtzberger, Wade Hultz, Logan Roberts, Dave Hanley and Colt Carper.

Memorials may be made to the family to help with final expenses.
