MILDRED BRINGER

Mildred Elaine Bringer, age 89, of the Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton, Mo., passed away, Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 7:40 a.m. at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.
She was born October 18, 1933 in Taylor, Mo., a daughter of Tom and Nona Head Miller, but was raised by Bill and Emma Barr of Maywood, MO. She was married to Harold Bringer on February 8, 1953 in LaGrange, Mo. They were later divorced.
She was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church in La Grange. She graduated from La Grange High School, was a homemaker and had also worked at Motorola and the Donut Shop both in Quincy and had also worked at the LaBelle Manor as a CNA, served as a Foster Grandparent and had operated the M & B Restaurant in Williamstown, Mo.
Survivors include sons, Charles Michael (Kathy) Bringer, Dennis (Donna) Bringer and William (Pam) Bringer; 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
Graveside services and burial will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Cemetery in La Grange with Pastor Jacob Hercamp officiating. There will not be any visitation.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Lewis County Nursing Home in care of Davis Funeral Home, La Grange, Mo.
