Tournament Donation

A check was presented to the Blessing Foundation in honor of Ray “Shocker” Schafer on Nov. 11. Pictured are Mike Vaughn, Rachele Schafer Waite and Craig Redmon. The Ray Schafer Memorial Golf Tournament was held at the River Valley Community Golf Course in October. Schafer spent many hours on the course with his friends and a memorial tournament has been held annually in his memory. Shocker passed away in February 2018. A memorial honoring Schafer is located on the golf course.
