Fatal Crash

Raymond Reid, 76, of Jefferson, Texas died in an accident on Highway 61, one mile north of LaGrange, Mo., on October 25, 2022. Reid was the driver of the southbound 2009 Dodge Ram when the vehicle hydroplaned, struck a bluff, and overturned, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s online crash reports. 

Raymond Reid was pronounced dead at Blessing Hospital in Quincy. A passenger Elan Reid, 72, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, received moderate injuries and was transported to Blessing Hospital. Both occupants were wearing seatbelts. Both were wearing seatbelts. 

Assisting at the scene were the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Lewis County Sheriff’s Department, LaGrange and Canton Fire Departments.
