DELORES M. WEATHERS  

Mrs. Delores Weathers, 86, of Canton, Mo., died Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 6:50 p.m. at Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton.

She was born October 26, 1935 in La Belle, Mo., a daughter of Charles Edward and Ida Belle Hazelwood Tate. She married Audrey J. (Scorch) Weathers September 6, 1958 in Canton, Mo. He preceded her in death December 21, 2007.

Mrs. Weathers was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by four sons, LaVerne Weathers of Canton, Leon Weathers and his wife Cara of Quincy, IL, Kenneth “Ray” Weathers and his wife Vincinne of Canton and John Weathers and his wife Carolyn of Quincy; two daughters, Carol Bowen and her husband Mark and Joy Scott both of Canton; grandchildren, John, Taryn, Jordan, Destiny, Raven, Jona’e, Chynna, Grayson, Kendall and Cayden; great grandchildren, Xaviar, DeAndrew, De’Loni and Torren; one sister Dorothy Weathers of Canton; sister-in-law Mildred Bell Weathers of Hannibal, Mo., and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and four sisters.

A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Keokuk National Cemetery in Keokuk, Iowa with Pastor Brian Stone officiating.

The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
