LOIS EVANS

Lois Anne Evans, 85, of Danville, Pa., was called to her Heavenly Home on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at her residence. She was born November 13, 1936, in Massapequa, NY, the daughter of the late Alexander and Lois Lawson.

Lois graduated from Massapequa High School in 1954. She was married to the late Reverend Jack Whalen Evans for 58 years.

Lois was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Danville, Pa., and the Lioness Club of Lewisburg, Pa. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, sewing, knitting, canning, and gardening. She will be remembered as being a devoted, faithful, and supportive person in the church. Lois would joyfully sew and knit for many different needs in the church as well as many other organizations and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by one daughter: Ruth Evans-Hill of Danville, Pa., and one son Timothy Evans and his wife Kelly of Monroe, Michigan. Lois is also survived by two grandchildren: Corynne Meyers, Isaac Evans, Diane, and Andrew.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son in law: Edward Hill, Sr.

Services will be held at a later date.
