ELIZABETH GOINGS

Elizabeth Goings, 78 of Lewistown, Missouri died August 24, 2022 at the Country Aire Retirement Center at Lewistown. The daughter of Reva Jones was born on May 28, 1944 at Quincy, Illinois.

She was united in marriage to Francis McDermott on February 17, 1962 at St. Patrick, Missouri.  He preceded her in death on October 19, 2009.  She later married Danny Goings on March 28, 2011 at Ewing, Missouri.  He preceded her in death on October 16, 2017.

Elizabeth was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse.  She attended the Ewing Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon McDermott of Lewistown, Mo.; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, husbands, daughter, Betty J. Godman and granddaughter Donna E. Godman.

Funeral services were held August 31, 2022 at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Lewistown, Missouri with Rev. Elmer Hagood officiating. Pallbearers: Johnnie Kraft, Mark Carpenter, Bruce McDermott, John Shannon, Mike Goodwin and Jesse Sparks.

Burial was in the LaBelle Cemetery, LaBelle, Missouri.
