JAMES M. MOORE

James M. Moore, 68, of Ewing, Mo., died July 2, 2022 near Maywood, Mo. He was born March 29, 1954 in Leachville, Ark., a son of JM and Faustena L. Shepherd Moore. James had made his home with Kathy Sparks since 1985.

He was an over the road Truck Driver driver and last drove for Sparks Trucking. He enjoyed drinking coffee and visiting the truck stop in Taylor. He liked to watch movies and enjoyed John Wayne. He also was a chauffeur to his grandkids. He was liked by everyone and did not know a stranger.

 Survivors include the love of his life, Kathy Sparks of Ewing; his mother Faustena Moore of Rolla, Mo.; his children, Dennis (Jan) Lily of Texas, Reva Sparks, Barbara (Tim) Vandenburg, Dawn Sparks, Jamie (Dave) Smith and Christopher Moore all of Ewing; grandchlidren, Bryan (Mackenzie) Vandenburg, Kylie Smith, Kara Smith, Kayla Smith and Avery Hudson; one sister, Susan (Dale) Forester of Newburg, Mo.; three brothers, Rick (Doreen) Moore of Newburg, Mo., Darryl (Rita) Moore of Doolittle, Mo., and Jeffrey Moore of Crosby, Tex., and several nieces and nephews and special family friends Dave and Elaine Brumett.
He was preceded in death by his father, his grandson, John M. David Hicks, his brother Terry Moore and his grandparents, Harold and Louetta Bramlett and Bud and Lula Moore.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 4 until 7 p.m. at the Ball-Davis Funeral Home in Ewing, Mo., with a funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Elmer Hagood officiating. Honorary Pallbearers: Tim Vanderburg, Dave Smith, Ricky Moore, Marc Forester, Richard Forester, Rachel Forester and Casey Skaggs.

Burial will be held at a later date in Ewing Memorial Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials be made to Kathy Sparks to help with final expenses.
