Students Receive New Books

Town and Country Bank Midwest recently sponsored an event for the third grade classes at Highland Elementary and donates books for each child. Approximately 80 children received a book. Tracy Schlepphorst is the author of Emotion Belly Books, a book series designed to help children better understand their emotions. Tracy’s book series includes: Henry and His Manners, Eden and Her Joy, Ripley Wonders About Books and My Emotional Belly. Books are available on Amazon and www.emotionbellybooks.com.

Tracy explains the creativity processes (from how she comes up with the characters, the page designs with the illustrators, and the final print product), answers their questions and reads the books to each class. Town and Country Bank Midwest has sponsored this event for several years but due to Covid the event has been postponed for a couple of years.
Town and Country Bank Midwest enjoys the opportunity of providing the books and appreciates the author, school, students, staff and administration for helping to make this event possible. Pictured are Highland third grade students in their classroom enjoying their new books.
