The Lewis County Nursing Home 2022 Newly Crowned Queen is Clarann Drebes, 90 years old, a resident of Lewis County Nursing Home. Clarann was born and raised on a farm in Kahoka, MO. She went to a one room school for 8 years in her community. Clarann went to high school in Kahoka. She graduated at age 17 and moved to Quincy and started a job for the telephone company as an operator. Clarann met her husband on a blind date 3 days after moving to Quincy. She worked at the telephone company for over three years. Clarann married her husband one week after he turned 21 years old because they had to wait until he turned 21 to get married. After they were married they moved to the country in Quincy. They had three wonderful children. When the last child was 7 years old she started working at JaDon company. She worked several places throughout the years, retiring from Sturhahn Jewelers, after 27 years. Clarann enjoyed going to the doll club. Over the years she collected dolls. Clarann likes doing crafts and spending time with family. she has six living grandchildren. She has 14 great grandchildren. Clarann would rather be outside when the weather is nice than inside.

The Lewis County 2022 Newly Crowned King is Gary Vaughn, 74 years old, a resident of Lewis County Nursing Home. Gary was born in Iowa. He grew up in LaGrange. Gary has 2 brothers (deceased) and a sister. He worked as a farm hand and enjoyed his job. Gary loves anything to do with wrestling.

Bonnie Smith, 86 years old, a resident of Lewis County Nursing Home is the 2022 Queen runner up. Bonnie has five children (one deceased) 13 grandchildren, and 2 grandchildren. Anyone that knows Bonnie knows that family is very important to her. Bonnie had two sisters. She went to Bible Grove High School and played basketball. Bonnie enjoyed playing basketball. Bonnie got married at age 16 and had first son at age 19. She had three boys and twin girls. Bonnie worked at Ayero for over sixteen years as a cook.
