WILLIAM C. VAUGHNAN

William C. Vaughan of Lewistown, formerly of LaGrange, died January, 28, 2016 at Truman VA Hospital, Columbia, Mo. after a long illness. He was born on April 5, 1951 to Earl and Jane Vaughan, which preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife Christine of 39 and a half years of their home in Lewistown, Mo. and his brother Earl, Basehor, Ks. Willie graduated from Tonganoxie High School in 1969 and joined the Army where he proudly served two tours in Viet Nam, where he was awarded numerous purple hearts. He received a liver transplant in 2002 and has donated his body to medical science.

In memory, he would like his family and friends to consider organ donation to save the lives of others. Willie will be greatly missed.
