Nathanial Ray Logsdon, 36, of Davenport, Iowa died February 7, 2022.
He was born August 19, 1985 in Quincy, Ill., a son of Stanley G. Logsdon (deceased) and Teresa L. Logsdon of Canton, Mo.

Nate was a man of many talents, passions, and hobbies. He loved hunting deer, turkey, mushrooms, fishing, boating and working with his friends, brothers and his dad. He had a career in heating and AC work and contracting with his dad alongside his brothers. These were all skills he acquired at a young age. He enjoyed family gatherings and was always the life of the party with a very bright personality and always an encouraging word. He attended and passed Marine basic training in San Diego, Calif., in 2004. He always maintained his strong faith and loved to worship, with a love of Christian music. He was a very well-rounded individual. His father often commented that he could do the work of two men with his drive.

He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley G. Logsdon; grandparents, Donald Ray Barry and his wife Janice Leone Barry; James E. Logsdon and Mary E. (Hartwig) Logsdon.

He is survived by his mother, Teresa Logsdon of Canton, Mo.; his three children, Laria Nevaeh Rayn Logsdon of Cincinnati, Ohio, Kamdyn Gabriel Gene Logsdon, and Rayden Nathaniel Logsdon of Ewing, Mo.; his siblings, Jeremy (Robyn) Burkhart of Kahoka, Mo., James G. (Krystina) Logsdon of Canton, Mo., Zachary (Brigetta) Logsdon of Canton, Mo., Kristina R. Stroud of Quincy, Ill., and Kristal (Clayton) Waelder of New London, Mo.; multiple nieces and nephews, Brooklyn Jobe of Decatur, Mo., Airizona Logsdon, Savannah Logsdon, Leighton Logsdon, Braxton Herren of Canton, Mo., Adalyn Logsdon of Liberty, Ill., Easton Herren, Lucille Logsdon, Gavin Savoia of Canton, Mo., Adrianna Waelder of New London, Mo., Sawyer Logsdon of Canton, Mo., Azlynn Baker, Kaevan Baker and Claylynn Waelder of New London, Mo.

He is survived by multiple aunts, uncles and cousins; Vaughn (Rita) Barry and their children Janice (James) Barnes, Misty (Kevin) Osbon, Faye Barry and her boys Odie and Oakley Cook of Kahoka, Mo., Rex Barry, of Canton, MO and his son Carson Barry, and Aunt Paula Barry of Avon, Ind., and their daughter Rebecca (Brian) Welker of Cicero, Ind., and her boys Christian (Jillian and daughter Eden) Gillam, Aaron Barry and Michael Corsentino of Ind., and Carson Barry, Pam (Tom) Ferguson of Kentucky with their children Michele Tripp, Angela (Roberto) Guerrido and Andrew Tripp, Sandy Reynolds of Gilson, Ia., Emmett D. (Lizzie) Logsdon of Sewanee, Tenn., and many, many second cousins.

Memorial services were held February 13, 2021. at Life Tabernacle Church in Canton with Bishop Paul Kinney officiating, Pastor Phillip Darnell and Mark Tipton as a special speakers.
Visitation was held preceding services. Pallbearers: Jimmy Herren, Paul Schmitz, Lance Brown, Jacob Savoia, Todd Cale and Chris Baldwin. Honorary pallbearers: Andrew Tripp, Jamie Merrell, Clayton Waelder and Chris Darnell.

An after-service meal was served by the Ladies of the Life Tabernacle Church in the Fellowship Hall.

The family suggests memorials be made to Teresa Logsdon for a memorial to be designated at a later date.
