BONNIE PATTERSON

Bonnie Louise Patterson, 71, of Lewistown, Mo., died January 20, 2022, in Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill. She was born in Kirksville, Mo., on July 2, 1950, the daughter of Arley Edward and Emma Evelyn Pierce Patterson.
Bonnie graduated from Lewistown High School and attended Gem City Business College in Quincy, Ill. She was a bookkeeper for Merchants Wholesale in Quincy until she retired in 2009. She loved the outdoors. Mushroom hunting, fishing, playing washers, and going to the gun and dog auction were some of her favorite things to do. She hosted carnivals at her home and held many gatherings in the “Pit”. Where she would blast music from Johnny Horton, Dolly Parton and other country artists. What Bonnie loved most was spending time with her family, friends and of course a can of cold Budweiser.
Surviving are her sisters, Sandra Patterson of Lewistown, Mo., Mary (Ron) Conger of New London, Mo., Diane Patterson of Lewistown, Mo., Susie Patterson of Hannibal, Mo., and a brother Richard Patterson of Hannibal, Mo., and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Arley Dee Patterson, Allen Ray (Hop) Patterson and one niece Emma Bess (EB) Webb.
Funeral services were held January 24, 2022, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Reverend Mike Wilson officiated the services. Visitation was held prior to services. Musical selections: On The Wings Of A Dove and Sunday Morning Coming Down. Casket bearers: Mary Conger, Ron Conger, Richard Patterson, Diane Patterson, Susie Patterson, Tracy Conger. Honorary bearers: Sandra Patterson, Jerry Lynn Patterson, Clyde Patterson, nieces and nephews.
Burial was in the Bible Grove Cemetery.
